 Communities First  was founded  in 2012 by three women who have spent their lifetimes promoting social justice and equity and who believed, by combining their strengths and passions, they could positively impact conditions particularly within black and brown communities. 

Our mission is to facilitate sustainable pathways out of poverty and to promote justice, equity, and healing for now and future generations.
